Biography

Jiro Osuga (b 1968)

London-based Jiro Osuga was born in Tokyo and grew up in Japan and the UK. He studied at St Martins, Chelsea, and the Royal College of Art.

Through interactive and often autobiographical works, Osuga casts a critical, wry eye over every aspect of contemporary life - from manhole covers to museums, cafes, train stations, and himself, reflecting a wit, melancholia and a rich internal dialogue with the outside world.
