Aesthetica Short Film Festival to screen Nadav Kander film
The BAFTA Qualifying ASFF: Aesthetica Short Film Festival is a celebration of independent film from across the world, and an outlet for supporting and championing short filmmaking. The 2014 festival will take place in 15 iconic venues including medieval halls, galleries, museums and cinemas across the city of York from 6 - 9 November. A diverse range of genres will be screened including comedy, music, drama, animation and documentary alongside a series of master classes and workshops with leading industry figures from BAFTA, Channel 4, Double Negative and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to attend networking events throughout the weekend. As part of the festival, a short film by Nadav Kander produced for the 'Power' issue of Under The Influence magazine will be screened at King's Manor 1. Kristen McMenamy is elevated by dancers in an ethereal 1 minute 50 seconds.
