Victoria Crowe featured in Celebrate: 200 Years of the Royal Scottish Academy
As part of celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA), Inverness Museum & Art Gallery is presenting a special exhibition that brings together the newly commissioned RSA200 Moving Image Programme alongside works by Academicians from the gallery's permanent collection, including works by Victoria Crowe RSA.
From Saturday 20 June to Saturday 4 July, The Moving Sketchbook programme will screen a series of films inspired by artists' sketchbooks and works in progress, offering audiences a unique insight into their creative processes. Among the featured films is Crowe's Inflorescence (2007), which explores the ideas and artistic thinking behind her practice through the medium of film.
