Jesus said to her, 'Mary.'
She turned towards him and cried out in Aramaic, 'Rabboni!' (which means teacher).
Jesus said, 'Touch me not, for I have not yet returned to the Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'  John 20: 14-17
 
She (Mary Madgelene) turned round and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realise that it was Jesus. This was a strange thing to say to her and cannot be fully explained. I think that Jesus was trying to make her realise that her love for him had to be spiritual from now on. -Peter Howson, 2026
