Tokyo-born, London-based artist Jiro Osuga (b 1968) studied at Chelsea College of Arts and the Royal College of Art. Osuga explores culture and identity throughout interactive, immersive works that reflect wit, melancholia, and a rich internal dialogue with the outside world. By manipulating the space both inside and outside an artwork, Osuga invites the viewer to enter the scene as a player in his theatre.
Jiro Osuga is represented in public collections including the Museum of London, London, and the Royal College of Art, London.
