Milton Keynes-based artist duo Fionnuala Boyd (b 1944) and Les Evans (b 1945) started working together in 1968. They have travelled extensively to find images for their work, including periods in the Malaysian Peninsula and Borneo. Their most enduring obsession is with landscape, particularly of the southwestern United States. This research has formed the majority of their artistic output, whether it be painting, photography, or printing.
Boyd & Evans is represented in public collections including the Arts Council of Great Britain, Bank of England, British Council, Manchester City of Art, Tate, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
