Rachel Heller to participate in Silent Art Auction in aid of Parkinson’s UK

Rachel Heller is among 40 established artists who have donated artworks to Parkinson's UK for a fundraising auction event. Taking place at the Royal College of Art on Thursday 18th December, guests will have the opportunity to submit silent bids 6-8pm on the evening, with successful bids announced 8-9pm. Parkinson's disease affects one in every 500 people in the UK, and this auction will raise vital funds to continue the charity's aim to find a cure.

Heller focuses on life drawings, creating figures without vanity or pretension. Although impressionistic, her works have intense realism due to the solidity and weight that they express. The power of this body of work is its ability to convey innocence and honesty within sincere and natural expression.
