In 2006, The Roundhouse reopened its iconic multi-arts venue in London and launched an ambitious youth programme rooted in a clear and urgent purpose: to create meaningful opportunities for young people in our community and invest in the next generation of creative talent.
Today, they are the largest creative youth centre in the UK, having engaged more than 100,000 young people. Through creativity, they help them build skills, confidence and community, and they open real pathways into employment across the creative industries.
They exist for young people and their futures at a critical moment, as youth centres close, arts education is squeezed, youth unemployment rises and young people’s mental health declines.
