The Archipelagic Imagination: Seaport, a two part group show curated by Zong Han, reconstructs Southeast Asia as a dynamic and evolving web of pathways, fragments, and interwoven connections. Here, the archipelago is understood not just as a metaphor, but as a tangible historical infrastructure—a vibrant network of seaports, river deltas, and upland interiors that have long facilitated the circulation of people, images, and ideas across the area often simplistically referred to as 'the South.'
