Immobiles are small works exploring and taking inspiration from free hanging mobiles; the mechanisms are intricate, but controlled in their movement, only moving with the interaction of the viewer and not at the whim of air currents and balance. They offer a choice of composition within the confines of the box in which they are contained, or by using a small mount to emphasise this idea.
