Inspired by visiting the annual Corn Dance at Santo Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico. Many dancers form interweaving patterns as they trace their steps across the open plaza. The drums beat a constant rhythm and the chorus chants. In the dazzling sun beneath blue skies the dancers and their shadows intermingle as they sway and move with the beat.
