London-based artist Rebecca Gilpin (b. 1996) explores rhythm in nature, music, and urban life. Her intuitive oil paintings, created often to music, reflect a flow state shaped by observation and sensitivity to her surroundings. Sound, memory, light, and landscape inform her compositions, producing a visual language that is both spontaneous and deliberate. Gilpin experiments with layering, removal, and contrasts of transparency and opacity.
Gilpin has exhibited internationally, including Melzi Fine Art, Milan and Kelly-McKenna Gallery, New Jersey.
