Rory Menage (b. 1988) is interested in the history of sculpture. His work has been shown at The Henry Moore Institute Leeds, The Aesthetica Short Film Festival, The Saatchi Gallery, Broadway Gallery Letchworth, and Galerie Lisa Kandlhofer. Menage was one of the founding artists in residence in Toma House, Nara, Japan, and this year completed a residency in Tinos, Greece.
'Patrescence I' is my first sculpture portraying fatherhood, and the first to include two separate figures in one piece, a father and a son, investigating the idea of relationality and interconnectedness to others.
