Sadie Hennessy's (b. 1965) artistic roots lie in collage and photomontage, often using humour and dark comedy in her work. She studied Theatre at Dartington College of Arts, and received an MA in Fine Art from Central St. Martins in 2010.
My work is concerned with absurdity and poignancy. I operate within a cultural framework of 'Englishness' and explore ideas of nostalgia and faux-nostalgia.
