British artist Adam Taylor (b. 1979) creates paintings that are abstract, minimalist compositions depicting dreamlike worlds. Working predominantly in oils and using a limited palette, he often plays with the use of grids to divide his work and create discord. Circle, one and Circle, two explore form through the use of curves and a restrained palette of muted blues. The curved shapes suggest movement and continuity, evoking the subtle flow of thought and memory.
