Royal College of Art graduate Jing Su (b. 1990) produces paintings that explore the politics of the female body and the complexities of autonomy.
'Hold Breath Lightly' reflects on the body as a site of tension, awareness, and quiet endurance. The work captures a moment suspended between control and release, a breath held just before exhalation. Within this stillness, colour becomes both pressure and pulse, tracing the physical sensation of waiting and the fragile balance of containment.
