Nick Fox's (b. 1972) practice and research draw upon queer histories, folklore, myth, literature, and subcultural symbolism, including reflecting on the mythological journey described through Botticelli's drawings made for Dante's Inferno. His work explores narratives of desire, longing, and intimacy, tracing the complex thresholds that shape personal and collective identities. Fox is based between London and Newcastle upon Tyne, where he teaches Fine Art at Newcastle University.
