Jane Ackroyd (b. 1957) is a London-based sculptor. Ackroyd was awarded the Europa Nostra Award for the 1993 redevelopment of The Old Royal Free Hospital, London, in collaboration with Levitt Bernstein Architects. In 1995, Ackroyd received the Jackson Pollock-Lee Krasner Foundation Award in New York.
Her recent works are small painted abstract sculptures. made intuitively. Influenced by Ackroyd's lifelong love of the small town of Begur in Spain, her practice has been inspired by its steel balconies and sculptures and her bright colour references stem from the vibrancy of its landscape.
