Awarded the Contemporary British Painting Prize in 2021 and recipient of a Juliet Gomperts bursary in 2012, artist Susan Absolon centers her practice on the material and formal language of painting, exploring the tactile and intuitive possibilities of process. Working without a fixed subject, she allows forms and ideas to emerge organically, guided by the fluid interaction between word, image, and thought. Her work has been exhibited in Europe and widely across the UK.
