Ken Currie Study (Still Night), 2022

Study (Still Night), 2022,  is a delicately rendered oil on canvas. Showing a red light shining from a suggested rock mass in the distance.  In seafaring communities, light has been used as a means of communication in remote parts of the world, especially amongst seafaring peoples. In this instance, the reason is left unexplained a warning fire, akin to a lighthouse, a threat, or welcome.
