Biography

Jiro Osuga (b 1968)

Jiro Osuga was born in Tokyo and grew up in Japan and the UK. He studied at St Martins, Chelsea and the Royal College of Art. He lives and works in London.

Osuga casts a critical eye over every aspect of contemporary life - from manhole covers to museums, cafes and train stations. The results are often humorous and exuberant. Recent exhibitions have been at the: Queens Terrace Cafe, the Japanese Embassy in London, the Charles B Wang Center in New York and the Streatham Festival.
