Loved and Observed is a group exhibition of portraits by
twenty-three artists, curated by Diana Corvelle and Manu Saluja.
The majority of these classically trained practitioners have each
depicted female subjects, in styles ranging from delicate to bold,
traditional to nonconformist. Together, the collection explores
themes of intimacy, family and friendship whilst allowing the
artists the opportunity to view themselves in a new light. The
exhibition celebrates women's portraiture as having long outgrown
expected stereotypes. We are delighted that Flowers artist Aleah
Chapin is participating.
