Lunchtime Talks at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery

To coincide with The Artists Folio as a site of Inquiry exhibition at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery at Bradford Museum, featuring the 25th Anniversary Portfolio of Angela Flowers Gallery, the Arts Council and friends are hosting two exclusive talks with Flowers artists David Hepher and Glen Baxter.

David Hepher is famed for painting residential inner city tower blocks in a celebration of brutalist architecture and the people who live there. The event will take place on Sunday 1st June 1 - 2:30pm.

For artist and illustrator Baxter, printmaking is an essential aspect of production, and his work provides a humorous and surreal commentary on social interaction. The event will take place on Sunday 8th June 1 - 2:30pm.

Both talks provide guests with the opportunity to purchase a signed print by the artist, and refreshments will be provided for all attendees.

The Artists Folio as a site of Inquiry continues until 15th June, 2014.
