In 1993 Peter Howson was commissioned to be the official British war artist in the Bosnian war where he witnessed and accurately painted much inhumanity to mankind. This is the first in a series of In Focus exhibitions that explore one artist and one work, spotlighting Holocaust Crowd Scene II (2011), which is both haunting and reflective of his past experiences.
